Introduction to Permanent Hair removal with Synchronized radiofrequency and pulsed light

Synchronized radiofrequency and pulsed light is a new and valuable semi-permanent hair removal technique, being more effective each method used individually. The combination of these methods increase potency and selectivity on the hair. Therefore, the treatment is superior than those techniques that only employ the melanin of the hair as chromophore (e.g. lasers).

The double action of synchronized pulsed light and radiofrequency avoids the annoying erythema of the treated skin, eliminates the risk of burns and pain, allows the treatment even in darker phototypes. It also makes the treatment of permanent hair removal extremely effective, safe and comfortable.

Treatment modalities

The treatment lasts 20-40 minutes depending on the extent of the area to be treated and the severity. Treatment of hair removal is painless in most cases, although you may feel a heating and burning sensation in those areas with high density of hair follicles.

After the procedure you can observe a slight erythema that regresses within 48 hours.

Then you should avoid sun exposure of the treated area for 21 days.

When treatment area is huge and the hair density is high, it is possible to fragment the treatment in two ore more sessions. However generally 5 to 7 sessions are required.
